How We Can Find the Space to Deal
with Difficulties in Our Lives
In this Live Online Event, we are exploring one of the deepest and most important issues that we all deal with; which is finding inner space to handle difficult and painful events as they happen in our lives.
Our nervous system can get easily overwhelmed when we get disturbed.
Without much inner space we either react outwards towards others, we may become self-destructive or we may pull away from life and feelings by distracting ourselves.
It’s an art to learn how to deal with disturbances, how to open deeper to life, to be able to allow more life energy without getting overwhelmed.
It’s about finding a very delicate balance.
It’s about remembering to nourish our inner space and beginning to value being, as much as doing.
Most of us were conditioned to do in order to get approval, recognition or even just to survive. Often our being was not recognized or valued and so it's natural that we put a lot of pressure to prove ourselves and forget to nourish the precious inner space that gives us grounding, silence and peace as we move through life.
The result often is that we begin to close to life, to say no to living fully, because we don’t have the inner space to deal with the intensity of more life energy.
When we close in this way, life gets very boring, empty and predictable.
To not feel this, we may distract ourselves, get addicted to excitement and keep perpetuating a cycle that moves us further and further away from our being.
Without learning to connect to our inner space eventually we can get so disconnected that life loses all meaning.
In this online event we are exploring how we distract ourselves and begin to learn how we can use the challenges that life brings to go in to create more inner space.
