In this Live Online Event, we are exploring one of the most important ingredients of our healing and growth process – how to learn to feel, be present with, and have some distance from the ups and downs of our inner emotional state.
It is a challenge to watch and accept how disturbed and how emotional we can become when we get triggered by another person or by life. It is immensely valuable in our relationships as well as in other aspects of our life to learn this tool.
Usually when we get triggered, we react automatically and compulsively. We can get overwhelmed with our emotions and the strong belief that we have to fix the situation as fast possible.
We can get lost in blame, attack, withdrawal, anger, collapse or an addiction. These reactions have damaging consequences in our life.
Learning to regulate our nervous system is in many ways, the most important life skills that we can develop.
In this online event, we are taking you through a step-by-step approach that we have developed in the Learning Love Work to learn self-regulation.
As in previous events, we begin with a short tune-in meditation, followed by teaching, and then open it up for questions.
After a short break, we will be guiding you in a meditation to explore in more depth experientially, and then invite you to go into break-out rooms to share with each other.
It is in English only with no additional translation.
To help the process go deeper, we please ask you to not drink any alcohol or take any recreational substances the day of the event.
